Hat Sie die Überschrift neugierig gemacht? Das war Absicht.
Denn ich möchte von einem gelungenen Beispiel unserer Förderung für junge Menschen berichten, die unser Bildungspatenschaftsprogramm in Ruanda durchlaufen, und nach ihrer erfolgreichen beruflichen Ausbildung keine (feste) Arbeitsstelle fanden.

Mit Hilfe von Fördermitteln und Spenden wollen wir sie beim Aufbau ihres eigenen Gewerbes unterstützen. Ich berichtete schon davon.

Heute stelle ich Ihnen ein start-up vor, das mit unserer Hilfe seine ersten Schritte tut.
Es ist ein „Waffle and Sandwich House“ in Kigali und befindet sich im Stadtteil Kimironko.

Im Mai wurde mir der Geschäftsplan von unserm ehemaligen Patenkind vorgestellt und wir haben es zusammen mit unseren beiden Mitarbeitern vor Ort in die Liste der förderungswürdigen Projekte aufgenommen.
Wir haben als Eine-Welt-Kreis absichtlich nur die Beschaffung der unbedingt nötigen Ausrüstung gefördert. Denn es sind die Betreiber des Gewerbes, die durch ihre Arbeit Ausmaß und Qualität ihres Angebots steigern müssen.

Nun hat also das „Waffle and Sandwich House“ seinen Betrieb aufgenommen. Es ist schwer, die erste Zeit zu überstehen, denn man muß sich zuerst einmal einen Kundenstamm aufbauen. Aber durch Fleiß und Qualität können Kunden schnell überzeugt werden.
Wir wünschen dem „Waffle and Sandwich House“ viel Erfolg und viele zufriedene Kunden!

Übrigens, wenn Sie mal in Kigali sind, dann fahren Sie ruhig mal in die Straße „KG 281 ST“ und halten nach dem „Waffle and Sandwich House“ Ausschau.

Today I will introduce you to a start-up that is taking its first steps with our help.
It is a „Waffle and Sandwich House“ in Kigali and is located in the Kimironko district.

In May, the business plan was presented to me by our former sponsored child and we, together with our two local staff members, included it in the list of projects worthy of support.
As a One World Circle, we intentionally only supported the procurement of the absolutely necessary equipment. Because it is the operators of the trade who have to increase the extent and quality of their offer through their work.

So now the „Waffle and Sandwich House“ has started its operation. It is difficult to get through the first period, because one first has to build up a customer base. But through diligence and quality, customers can be won over quickly.
We wish the „Waffle and Sandwich House“ every success and many satisfied customers!
