Für diesen Traum arbeitet Amanda unermüdlich mit der Gabe, die sie bekommen hat: ihre Stimme!
Denn Sie weiß um das armselige Leben der Kinder, deren Stimme nicht gehört wird. Amanda hat das Glück, daß sie schulische Förderung von Paten in Deutschland bekommt: „Meine Mutter hatte keine Möglichkeit, mein Schulausbildung zu bezahlen, und meine Schwester hatte sogar Angst, die Schule verlassen zu müssen.“

Amanda möchte ihre musikalische Begabung nicht nur benutzen, um den eigenen Lebensunterhalt zu verdienen, sondern sie möchte auch ihrer Familie und anderen Kindern helfen, damit sie, genau wie sie selbst, mit Hilfe einer schulischen (und beruflichen) Ausbildung dem Teufelskreis der Armut entfliehen und aus eigenen Kräften ein auskömmliches Leben führen können.
Selbst noch Schülerin, komponiert sie Lieder, die all jene Themen aufgreifen, die für eine gute Lebensperspektive unabdingbar sind: Freunde, Selbstvertrauen, Unterstützung, Trost, Zusammenhalt etc.
Dabei wird sie von ihrer Mutter unterstützt, die hart dafür arbeitet, damit Amanda ihren musikalischen Ambitionen freien Lauf lassen kann. Bei den Studio-Aufnahmen helfen ihr Freundinnen als background-Sänger.

Während der Weihnachtsferien 2021 hat Amanda zwei neue Lieder komponiert und im Januar 2022 aufgenommen, die ich Ihnen hier vorstellen möchte.
Lied Nr. 1 heißt „Voice“
Der Titel des Liedes entspricht ihrem Motto, Stimme der Stimmlosen sein zu wollen. Es ist eine Ermutigung und Tröstung derer, die sich übersehen fühlen.

Lied Nr. 2 heißt „Byina“
„Byina“ heißt soviel wie „Tanzen“. Das Lied ist ein Plädoyer für die Lebensfreude.

Frühere Lieder von Amanda sind ebenfalls online verfügbar.
In 2020 veröffentlichte sie zusammen mit ihrer Schwester ihr Lied „Irinde“ (Bedeutung etwa „Sei vorsichtig“) mit Hilfe von Freunden als Video.

Und mit dem Lied „Together“ gewann sie 2021 den Special Prize „Africa“ beim Lieder-Wettbewerb „Dein Song für EINE WELT!“, der vom Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung im Jahr 2021 veranstaltet wurde.

Amanda works tirelessly for this dream with the gift she has been given: her voice!
Because she knows about the miserable lives of children whose voices are not heard. Amanda is lucky that she gets school support from sponsors in Germany: „My mother had no way to pay for my studies and my sister I was even afraid to abandon the school.“

Amanda does not only want to use her musical talent to earn her own living, but she also wants to help her family and other children, so that they, just like herself, can escape the vicious circle of poverty with the help of a school (and professional) education and live a sufficient life on their own.
Still a pupil herself, she composes songs that address all those topics that are indispensable for a good perspective on life: Friends, self-confidence, support, comfort, cohesion, etc.
She is supported by her mother, who works hard so that Amanda can give free rein to her musical ambitions. During the studio recordings, friends help her as background singers.

During the Christmas holidays in 2021, Amanda composed two new songs and recorded them in January 2022, which I would like to present to you here.
Song No. 1 is called „Voice“.
The title of the song is in keeping with her motto of wanting to be the voice of the voiceless. It is an encouragement and comfort to those who feel overlooked.

Song No. 2 is called „Byina“
„Byina“ means as much as „dancing“. The song is a plea for the joy of living.

In 2020, she and her sister released their song „Irinde“ (meaning something like „Be careful“) as a video with the help of friends.

And with the song „Together“ she won the Special Prize „Africa“ in the song competition „Dein Song für EINE WELT!“ (Your Song for One World!), organised by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in 2021.
