Trumpas pamąstymas

Praėjus gražiausiai pavasario šventei – Velykoms, gyvenimas vėl teka monotoniškai. Vėl darbai, vėl mokslai, vėl įprasta namų ruoša. Daugelis niurna, kad šitokia rutina vargina, net nesusimąstydami, kad kažkur kitame pasaulio krašte vargingai gyvenantys žmonės tik svajonėse galėtų gyventi šį mūsų „monotonišką, nuobodų“ gyvenimą. Pavyzdžiui, afrikiečiams mūsų rutina atrodytų tarsi geriausias gyvenimo būdas. O gal taip ir yra? Kol turime darbą, vietą mokykloje, batus, namus ir valgį ant stalo – negalime skųstis. Žinoma, visada norisi turėti daugiau, rengtis gražiau, leisti sau netaupyti geresniam drabužiui ar naujesniam išmaniajam telefonui. Bet be viso šito galime išgyventi. Tad kai kitą kartą Jūs, mielas Skaitytojau, pasijusite neturtingas ar įstrigęs „pilkame pasaulyje“, prisiminkite, kad šioj Žemėj yra daug vargingiau už Jus gyvenančių žmonių, kuriems reikia pagalbos, ir padėkokite likimui, kad gimėte čia, o ne ten, kur vienas maisto kąsnis reiškia slenkstį tarp gyvenimo ir mirties.

Jedes Jahr entscheiden die Konfirmanden in Ruhla darüber, welchem Projekt sie ihr Konfirmandendankopfer zukommen lassen.
Mit diesem Dankopfer bringen die Jugendlichen ihren Dank für die Segnungen in ihrem Leben gegenüber Gott zum Ausdruck. Und sie teilen von dem, was sie haben, mit denen, die Hilfe brauchen; ganz so, wie es Jesus Christus von Christen erwartet.
In diesem Jahr haben die Jugendlichen entschieden, daß ihre Gabe für das Bildungsprojekt in Ruanda bestimmt sein soll. Dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Gott segne die Konfirmanden und die Jugendlichen in Ruanda, denen damit geholfen wird.
Wir empfehlen auch anderen Konfirmandengruppen, ein solches Dankopfer für unser Ruanda-Projekt zu sammeln.

Every year the confirmands of the Protestant parish of Ruhla decide what project they want to support with their „confirmands offering“.
By giving this donation the young people want to express their gratitude towards God for all the blessings of their life. And they share from their own wealth with those in need – just as Jesus Christ expects Christians to do.
This year the confirmands decided to give their donations to the educational sonsorship project in Rwanda. We are very grateful for this! May God bless the confirmands and the Rwandan beneficiaries.
We ask other confirmands groups to give their „confirmands offering“ to our project, too.

Am 4. März feierten ca. 300 Christen aus unserer Region den Weltgebetstag der Frauen, den dieses Jahr Frauen aus Cuba vorbereitet hatten. Das Motto lautete „Nehmt Kinder auf, und ihr nehmt mich auf“.
Dieses Motto paßte natürlich besonders gut zu den Aktivitäten des Ökumenischen 1Welt-Kreises in Ruanda.
Selbstverständlich war unser 1Welt-Kreis – wie in jedem Jahr – mit seinem Informationsstand anwesend.
Solche Großveranstaltungen sind ein gute Gelegenheit, unser Projekt vielen Menschen gleichzeitig vorstellen zu können. Wenn Sie, liebe Leser, auch Gelegenheit haben, an einer solchen Großveranstaltung teilzunehmen und uns unterstützen würden, indem Sie Infomaterial von uns verteilen, senden wir Ihnen gern welches zu. On March, 4th, about 300 Christians from our area celebrated the „Women’s World Day of Prayer“ with a service. This year, the celebration was prepared by women from Cuba and the motto was „Receive Children. Receive Me.“
This motto fits to the work of our Ecumenical 1World-Group perfectly since we support childrens education in Rwanda. Of course, our 1World-Group was present at the celebration – as usual.
Such major events give us the chance to introduce our projects to a broader public. If you, dear reader, take the opportunity to take part in such an event, and would be so kind to distribute some info-material of our project to the attendees, we’d be more than happy.
