Kürzlich hat ein Pate unseres Patenschaftsprogramms anläßlich einer Familienfeier die Gelegenheit genutzt, unser Projekt in Ruanda vorzustellen und um Spenden zu bitten. Die Gäste sind dieser Einladung gern nachgekommen und haben gut 1000 Euro gespendet. Das ist sowohl eine tolle Idee vom Gastgeber als auch ein erfreuliches Ergebnis. Das Geld wird für die Beschaffung eines Autos für den Leiter des Projekts in Ruanda benutzt werden.
Wir danken dem Paten für die tolle Idee und hoffen, daß dieses Beispiel Schule macht.
Recently, a foster father of our education sponsorship program took the chance of a family celebration to introduce the program to his guests and to ask them for donations. The guests followed this invitation willingly and gave donations of about 1000 Euro. This is not only a great idea of the host but also a pleasing result. The money will be used to finance a used car for our program manager in Rwanda so that he can follow up the children we care for.
We thank the foster father very much and hope that his example will find many followers.
